Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale forest National Park

Your thrilling three-day journey begins at 11 am in Entebbe, a picturesque town nestled along the shores of Lake Victoria. After arriving at the airport, you will be greeted by your guide who will accompany you on an unforgettable road trip to Kibale Forest National Park. As you embark on the drive, which takes around 5 to 6 hours, you’ll be treated to mesmerizing views of the Ugandan countryside. Passing through vibrant villages and rolling hills, you’ll get a taste of the local culture and immerse yourself in the authentic beauty of Uganda.

Upon reaching Kibale Forest National Park, you’ll check into your accommodation and have some time to relax and rejuvenate. The park is renowned for its remarkable variety of primates, with the highlight being the incredible chimpanzees. In the evening, you can take a leisurely walk around the lodge, enjoying the tranquil ambiance and keeping an eye out for the diverse bird life that inhabits the area. Alternatively, you may choose to partake in a nature walk or visit the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, which offers an opportunity to spot rare bird species and other wildlife.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable.

Prepare for an awe-inspiring day as you embark on a remarkable chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest National Park. In the early morning, you’ll gather at the park headquarters, where knowledgeable guides will provide a comprehensive briefing about the trek and the guidelines to ensure a safe and respectful encounter with the chimpanzees. Day 3: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Kigali for departure.

On the final day of your adventure, get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime experience – gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast, you’ll make your way to the park headquarters, where you’ll receive a thorough briefing and be assigned a gorilla group to visit. With a packed lunch and essential trekking gear, you’ll venture into the dense rain forest, accompanied by skilled guides and trackers.

The trek duration and intensity will vary depending on the assigned gorilla group’s location. As you navigate through the thick vegetation and rugged terrain, your guides will provide fascinating insights into the unique flora and fauna of the park. Once you encounter the gorillas, you’ll be captivated by their sheer size, intelligence, and gentle nature.
