Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali & City Tour

• Arrival: Arrive at Kigali International Airport, where your guide will meet and assist you with the transfer to your hotel.
• City Tour: Explore Kigali, visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local markets, and craft centers.
• Dinner & Overnight: Settle in for the night at your Kigali hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park & Afternoon Game Drive

• Morning Transfer: After breakfast, depart for Akagera National Park, a 2.5-hour drive from Kigali.
• Afternoon Game Drive: Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting animals like elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and giraffes.
• Dinner & Overnight: Relax at your lodge within the park.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Akagera National Park

• Morning Game Drive: Set out early for a full-day game drive, exploring the diverse landscapes of Akagera, from woodlands to savannahs and lakes.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe Forest
