Detailed itinerary;
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
On the first day of your safari, our driver guide will welcome you and provide a briefing before starting the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking and enjoy lunch in Masindi town. Upon arrival at the park, drive to the top of the falls for a beautiful view of the waterfalls typical of many Uganda wildlife safaris. Check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
After breakfast, head out for a morning game drive to view animals such as buffalo, giraffes, elephants, lions, and leopards. Return to the lodge for lunch and embark on an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls: spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and water birds along the shores. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay during this Uganda safari adventure.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park during the 6-Day Uganda Wildlife Safari
After breakfast on the third day, check out of the lodge and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. Enjoy en-route lunch and scenic views of the Rwenzori mountain ranges, tea plantations, and crater lakes. Check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, start trekking in the forest with an experienced guide in search of chimpanzees. Spend one hour with them in their natural habitat, learning about their habits and behaviors. Trek back to the starting point and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check in at the lodge and go for an evening game drive to view elephants, Uganda kobs, and waterbucks. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay on your safari journey.
Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
Start the day with a game drive through the park, spotting wild animals such as reed buck, bush buck, kob, warthog, elephant, lion, and buffalo. Return to the lodge for lunch and then enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, shoebills, pelicans, kingfishers, saddle-billed storks, and crowned cranes. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay on your exciting 6-day wildlife safari.
Day 6: Transfer Back to Entebbe, end of the 6-Day Uganda Wildlife Safari
On the last day of your safari, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before checking out of the lodge and meeting with your driver guide to transfer back to Entebbe. As this is the end of your amazing 6-day adventure, stop for lunch in Mbarara town and have a photo opportunity at the Equator before arriving in Kampala early evening. Your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport or any other place of convenience.
