Great time with gorilla trekking and Kiiza I had a great time doing gorilla trekking at Bwindi. The highlight of the trip (besides the gorillas, of course) was Kiiza, the driver/guide with whom I spent two days. Great guy, great personality, knowledgeable and really helped to elevate the bar. Wish you all the success, Kiiza! The only problem I had involved the visas required to go from Rwanda to Uganda and back. I ended up spending more than would be necessary if I had received the correct information. A small nuisance when considered the experience as a whole.

Great 4 days tour Rwanda/Uganda We had an amazing 4 days tour starting Kigali. The organization from Kyooma was very good. Mwijie was very fast in responding to messages and always reachable. Our Guide and Driver Kiiza did an excellent job bringing us to all our destinations safely & in time, and telling so many interesting stories about the country, the animals and locals, and much more. We had a fantastic time - thank you Kiiza. The highlights: so many. The amazing gorillas, the chimps at Kyambura Gorge, the playing golden monkeys, the >50 elefants at Kazinga Channel and much more. Great experiences!

Unforgettable Uganda Safari with Amazing Gorilla Tracking Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The trip offered many amazing wildlife sightings and was an incredible experience throughout. The guide was kind, knowledgeable and professional, and his driving skills were excellent, making the long drives feel very safe and comfortable. An Experience We Will Treasure Forever Our 8-day journey in Uganda with Kyooma Gorilla Safari was truly unforgettable. From the very first contact, we felt listened to and genuinely cared for, with a perfectly tailor-made itinerary designed around our needs. The accommodations exceeded our expectations, the food was excellent, and every detail was thoughtfully organized. Our guide, Edgar, was not only a skilled and safe driver, but also a wonderful companion throughout the trip: knowledgeable, kind, and always ready to share insights, with very good English. Meeting the gorillas was an incredibly emotional, once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were especially grateful for the support in arranging a sedan chair for my mother, which made this extraordinary moment possible for her as well. We couldn’t have asked for more. Eccezionale Un’esperienza fantastica resa possibile da Kyooma gorilla safaris. Ho voluto affidarmi a loro perché mi sono subito trovata bene con Mwije. Un’organizzatrice super affidabile, gentilissima e super presente. Ha scelto per me degli alloggi fantastici e ogni giorno si preoccupava per capire come stavo. Il tutto è stato reso fantastico anche grazie al mio driver Andrew che si destreggiava nel traffico in modo impeccabile. È stata una settimana meravigliosa, mi sento di consigliare al 100% questa compagnia, la migliore in assoluto!!! Super bravi e organizzati!!!

Mwije, tha manager, prepared every single detail of our journey, adapted to our needs (pick up in Rwanda, Kigali, set off in Uganda, Lake Bunyuni, incl. golden monkeys and gorilla tracking), and to our limited budget. Do not hesitate to ask her about anything, she also helped me to arrange medical treatment in local hospital! And the guide/driver Muhwezi Shever is so professional, educated and willing person always smiling. And bought us a tone of mangos in the market :-D Accomodation and food during our trip always on very high level.

Rencontre avec gorilles des montagnes au parc au parc Bwindi Mon épouse et moi, avons réservé une expédition de 3 jours pour aller voir les gorilles des montagnes en Ouganda ainsi que les singes dorés au départ de Kigali au Rwanda. Quelle incroyable aventure nous avons pu vivre grâce à l équipe de Kyooma Gorilla safari Un grand merci à notre guide Shever Muhwezi qui nous a accompagné tout au long de ce périple Il a toujours été Professionnel, amical, respectueux et fier de son pays (Ouganda) Sans être des lodges 5 étoiles , (nous sommes en régions reculé ) nos hébergements étaient tout à fait adéquats La gentillesse des gens ainsi que leur accueil était tout simplement sans égal N’hésitez pas à aller au devant de la population qui est tellement chaleureuse, tout particulièrement les enfants qui nous saluent en bordure des routes et avec qui nous avons partagés nos collations. Incredible 2 day gorilla trek Our experience with Kyooma for a 2 day Mountain Gorilla trek was exceptional! The entire experience was more than we could have hoped for, seeing a family of 10 gorillas up close was unforgettable. Highly recommend taking the 2 day option to visit the genocide memorial and enjoy the lodge and area, including the women's collective. Mwije (office manager at Kyooma) was so friendly and responsive, planning was easy and seamless. Our guide Robert was knowledgeable and friendly and a great driver. The accommodation at Da Vinci Lodge was excellent - the food was terrific (we chose our menu for each meal and acccomodating a vegetarian diet was no problem) and enjoyed a warm fire in our room and hot water bottles in our beds. Everyone went out of their way to make it a comfortable and worry free trip from beginning to end. Very strongly recommend Kyooma!!
