This is the highly anticipated day! After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. You’ll be assigned a gorilla family group and set out with experienced guides and trackers. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. Upon encountering these magnificent creatures, you’ll spend an hour observing them in their natural habitat. Afterward, return to the lodge for relaxation. In the evening, consider a community walk or visit the Batwa Pygmy community to learn about their traditional way of life.
